To user your mobile phone, it must have a frequency compatible with territory you’re heading to and your home operator must have a roaming agreement with Digicel.

Your mobile phone does not necessarily connect automatically to Digicel’s network. In this case, to use our network you may have to connect it manually. 

Simply switch on your mobile phone when you arrive in Honduras! Your phone will automatically log on to a network. If you want enjoy our excellent GSM national coverage, you can select the Digicel’s network manually.

How to select manually Digicel’s network?

In case of selecting the network manually, you shall follow some steps – this procedure will vary according to your handset! 

However, if you have any kind of specifically doubt you should read the user’s guide of handset manufacturer for selecting it.

Once "Digicel / hnd04 / 708040" is displayed on your screen... You are connected!

As using the Digicel Roaming service, you shall be allowed to make and receive any calls as well as provided any other supplementary services with your mobile phone in the GSM operators’ networks that have international roaming agreements with Digicel while traveling in abroad.
